The days are getting away from me! One day it’s Halloween and the next it’s nearly Christmas! Christmas is always full of happiness and cheer. I love baking cookies while watching Christmas movies! One movie in particular that I love is How the Grinch Stole Christmas! I love it so much that my dining room will have a Grinchmas theme this year.
For this project, I was looking to make something to accent the Grinch theme. I loved the way my Halloween lantern turnout so I decided to make one for Christmas, too! I went to my trusty Dollar Tree which usually has everything in stock and I was not disappointed. I found packs of ornaments in Green and a white-ish silver color, funky red ornaments, the ribbon and a cute tree ornament that I thought would look cute.

The assembly was very simple. I filled the lantern with the ornaments, making sure that they were mixed well. I then made a simple bow with my Bowdabra and attached it to the top. To add a little charm to it, I decided to add the tree ornament just below the bow. This project was super simple and took less than 10 minutes to make and I spent just around $10 before tax! I’m super excited to display this during the holidays! As always, thank you for reading and I would love to see how you decorate your lantern for the holidays!
